Course Dates and Prices

Our ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) courses are for learners who live in the UK and need English for work and daily life.  The courses will build your confidence and fluency in English so that you can talk to neighbours, teachers and doctors, go shopping, and use local amenities.  You will also learn basic employability and enterprise skills such as writing a simple CV or completing an application form.

We have courses from Entry Level 2 to Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE).  All the courses will improve your listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

One-to-one classes VS group classes
If you are a social person and enjoy meeting and talking to people, you might find that being part of one of a group helps to motivate you.  Sometimes studying in a group creates learning opportunities that you wouldn’t otherwise have. You might, for example, be able to meet up with your classmates outside of class for extra conversation practice.  Some people also prefer group classes because there is less pressure on you - you are not always the centre of attention.

Join our school events
Throughout the year, we hold a number of fun events for past and present students.  The events, which include things like barbecues and restaurant meals, are a great way to make new friends and catch up with former classmates.

I got my marriage visa because of my marriage to my English husband.  After two years, my marriage visa expired.  My English level was very low so I was facing an ESOL and citizenship course in order to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain.  My friend introduced Raoul to me.  Raoul gave me one to one speaking practice.  He helped me to go over the important topics of the course.

I am especially grateful for Raoul's patience and kindness.  He built up my English.  He also corrected my pronunciation.  He patiently helped me to improve my English level, although it was very low.  I passed the ESOL and citizenship speaking test.  I have my Indefinite Leave to Remain Visa now.  I would like to thank Raoul for everything he did to help me prepare for the test.  I believe that Raoul can provide the best help for people doing the test, and will even organise accommodation for the period of the course.
