Join our semi-intensive General English courses, online or face-to-face, for one to four days a week.

We understand that it is sometimes not possible to study every day. These classes allow students to study for just part of the week.

All four language skills are covered in class but priority is given to speaking and listening. New language is introduced through topic based classes (work, family, animals, transportation etc). The vocabulary and grammar taught is continually recycled in order to help you remember it. To further reinforce the work done in class, supplementary exercises are set as homework.

Is General English the same as ESOL?
General English focuses on improving all language skills - grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading, writing - often for personal or professional development.

I got my marriage visa because of my marriage to my English husband. After two years, my marriage visa expired. My English level was very low so I was facing an ESOL and citizenship course in order to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain. My friend introduced Raoul to me. Raoul gave me one to one speaking practice. He helped me to go over the important topics of the course.

I am especially grateful for Raoul's patience and kindness. He built up my English. He also corrected my pronunciation. He patiently helped me to improve my English level, although it was very low.
