My lessons at Durham School of English were a key factor to achieve my IELTS goal. I took just three hours per week, but it was enough because the material provided and the homework was accurately designed to improve my weak points. My teacher had a personalised methodology with innovative and effective exercises. I learned a lot and got the IELTS score that my MSc required. Alicia Zegarra, Peru
I am a Russian student who had to pass the IELTS test to apply for a PhD position in the UK, so I started to take lessons with Durham School of English. Apart from correcting my essays and conducting the IELTS Speaking section, my teacher also provided me with valuable materials containing vocabulary for various topics. Sure enough, these classes helped me to improve both speaking and writing English skills and pass the IELTS exam successfully with Band 8. Theodore, Russia
